Why we built Musync
In an outdoor performance during COVID, sheet music was scattered by the wind - bringing the performance to a halt.
It was a simple moment, but it raised a bigger question:
Why are musicians still relying on paper?
That question led to a deeper realization - papers, PDFs, and disconnected apps weren’t just inconvenient, they were limiting.
Musync was created to change that.
Built by a father-and-son team combining technology and music, Musync was shaped through conversations with musicians, teachers, and directors to understand how music is actually organized, practiced, performed, and shared.
The result is a comprehensive digital workspace designed as a true alternative to paper.
